A Welcome Message
Wickline Church of The Vine
The passage from John reminds this amazing church family who we are and whose we are.
First, we are a growing fellowship of believers seeking to be transformed for the transformation of the world. We are willing to be pruned, trimmed and fertilized so that we will grow into the men and women of God that God has called us to be. We do so in worship, Bible study, missions and many other ministries. As a growing church we are continually reminding ourselves it is not about us. Sometimes this produces a little pruning which we all can use as God cuts away more of us so that more of Him can be revealed through our service.
That brings up my second point; if he is the Vine and we are the Branches then we must finally understand we can't do anything except through Him. The Wickline Faith Family has come to realize this truth. Not by sight, but by faith, that in Him we can do all things. We invite you to come join a family that is discovering itself in reflection of Christ to the world. We are His love and are striving to show His love to the world that He so loved and for which He gave His only son. Come grow with us.
