Are Ye Able

Can I really die so that Christ will be seen in me? Is my heart so willing to seek only God's will that I like Christ would give it all for Him? Easy to ask, not so easy to answer. I could say yes, "Oh, yes Lord, I am able!" And yet as soon as it gets tough this tough guy does not always get going. I start asking him, "What about me? What about what I am going through, about what I need?"  The difference, yes the obvious is I Am Not Christ! But the real difference is that there is too much of me and not enough of him.  "Lord empty me, pour me out, let me have all of you and none of me. That is my prayer, that really is my desire. To be seeking His heart trusting that what God does for me and through me is what He really wants for me. So, this Maundy Thursday when Christ asked his father, "If this cup can pass from me," is my chance to say that no matter what is happening in my life or to my life let me have the strength to be Christ to the world. Let me only show forth him.
